Sprouts Salad Mix Organic Seeds (LG)

Sprouts Salad Mix Organic Seeds (LG)

Medicago sativa subsp. sativa, Trifolium pratense, Brassica oleracea var. italica, Amaranthus hypochondriacus

Item #7813

The beauty, texture and mingled flavors of these fresh sprouts will turn your salads into a gourmet experience. We put together this special mix to highlight the flavor of each component in a perfect balance for salads. The sweetness of alfalfa and red clover mix with a lively boost from the broccoli and kale. Burgundy amaranth adds exciting color. Not just for salads, try these sprouts on sandwiches, hamburgers, tacos, and scrambled eggs or omelets. Add at the last minute to top soups and stews. The culinary possibilities are limited only by your imagination!

Sprouting is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply soak your seeds in water for 8 to 12 hours, place them in your sprouting container, in a warm area (70°F), and rinse at least twice daily until Salad Mix sprouts are 1"-2" long. See inside the packet for more information about growing sprouts.

Sprout Seed Safety: A sample from each seed lot we receive is sent to an independent laboratory where it must test negative for foodborne pathogens including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Salmonella, Listeria, and Staphylococcus aureus (Staph). Although disinfecting sprouts is not necessary, if you choose to do so, visit our Learn & Grow article for suggested disinfection methods.
