Annual. Named for its characteristic of blooming after 4pm, four o'clock flourishes almost anywhere including hot, windy spots. Excellent as an annual hedge. Perennial in USDA zones 9-11, otherwise grown as an annual. Reseeds freely. Wonderful in barrels, tubs, or other large containers. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant.
